Week Three: Online Meetings and Facebook Update

Facebook update: I posted my picture today.

Online meetings: I have attended a number of Webinars at our library so did not look at any of the ones suggested for this course. I may do so in the future if time permits.

Week Two: Facebook

Setting up a Facebook account was very easy. However, I still haven't put in a photo. Also, I was asked to be a friend by someone whose name I don't recognize. When I looked at his page, we had five friends in common so I've asked some of them to illuminate me.

Week One: Blogging

I'm a Youth Services Librarian at the Topeka and Shawnee County Library. During the months of January and February we participate in a Reading Challenge with librarians from northeast Kansas and the Kansas City, Missouri area.

I just finished reading The Hunger Games and Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. Both books were very exciting and quick to read. I look forward to hearing about other good reads.
